Self Help - Case Studies
        
The achievements of Self Help Development in its work in Africa are first and foremost the achievements of the people with whom we work.

The small-holding farmers who are now self-sufficient in food production and even producing surpluses, the women who have set up small home businesses, the local villagers who no longer have to trudge long distances to gather water, and the communities who finally have the means to live life free from poverty and need - are just some of the success stories which we have shared in celebrating.

The area based programmes and capacity building activities Self Help will support more than half a million people this year.
