Community groups

Are you involved in a university society, rotary club, Young Farmers Club, Scouting or guiding group, or any other community group? You could nominate us as your charity of the year or simply organise a one off event for us. Whatever you decide we will be on hand to offer you personal support and advice and all the resources you need to get the best out of your event.

There are so many rewarding ways for your group to get involved with Self Help Africa and help create a secure future for African families.

If you are interested in Self Help Africa’s work we can arrange for an ambassador to come and speak to your group.

We can supply you with Self Help africa t-shirts, sponsorship forms and tips, training tips and personal advice. We can help you get local press coverage which will advertise your group and increase the profile of Self Help Africa in your area.

Self Help Africa’s staff can assist you in planning an event, or we can attend an event that you are organising. And of course your event will be publicised on the events section of the website.

Take a look at our fundraising page and events page to see what activities your community group could get involved in.
