Solar Energy
Self Help introduced the use of solar energy for a variety of purposes. Through the programme, areas have been able to make use of their most obvious and abundant natural resource - sunlight.

Solar energy has been used for purposes like irrigation as well as for lighting and refrigeration. The use of solar energy has enabled the storage of veterinary medicines for extended periods of time until they are required.
