Land was highly degraded with unreliable rainfall, resulting in periodic droughts.                   Project Aim:          Self Help’s first project, it aimed to increase productive capacity of the land in order to help the farmers become self sufficient, as well conserving the degraded eco-system and environment.                   Project Components:          › Crop Production (rainfed & irrigation)          › Livestock          › Water          › Afforestation & Conservation          › Women’s Development          › Flour Mills          › Health          › Training                                   Self Help Africa is a limited liability company.
